Reading Robot

My sister asked me to draw for her a robot holding a book. It turns out this isn't quite what she was looking for, but I thought it was worth sharing. This is digital collage using original photography.

XA SALT 2011

This year the Chi  Alpha powers that be asked me if I would design a logo and some promotional cards for our winter conference, Southeast SALT. Below are the front and back of the cards, which will be 4"x4". [Updated these images since there were a few last minute changes this morning]

There are definitely a few things I would go back and change given more time, but overall I'm really pleased with how this came together on such short notice. And it seems that my "client" is pretty happy with it, too, which is always a huge win. Enjoy!

Lego stop motion

Legos seem like a pretty obvious place to start for stop motion beginners, so I present to you this animated assembly of a tiny Lego set. It's one of the Toy Story army men and his jeep; got it in the Target checkout line for $3.99.

I'm sure I have a lot to learn, and this is no masterpiece, but it was a fun way to spend a couple of hours on a lazy Sunday afteroon. Enjoy.
