music

lately ive been in a kind of funk when it comes to music. it's like almost nothing will satisfy the moment. the old stand-by tracks seem empty and hollow. this has never happened to me before...least not for this long.

there are a few albums i keep going back to. and i fear over-playing those precious few, because what will i do when i can't listen them any more, either?

i don't know.

but these are them:
John Mark McMillan / The Medicine
Jars of Clay / Long Fall Back to Earth
Freelance Whales / Weathervanes
and probably
Sigur Ros / Takk

and occasionally:
The Decemberists and bits of Ingrid Michaelson.

inspiration, anyone?

How about Vision by Missing You Dearly. I'll have you a copy at the Long/Crotts Wedding.

hey, so i just saw this. i always forget to check the reader thing. anyway, i've been listening to jm's the song inside...... a lot recently along with the medicine. i know our taste in music isn't quite the same, but i really like brooke fraiser. and i have no idea if you've heard of gungor, but i just heard them (like 2 songs) and i really want to hear more.
