hey jared! i just wanted to say thanks again for the cool swan. i appreciate you hanging on to that precious gum wrapper and remembering my desire for one, and then the precious time from your busy schedule that you took to make it. means a lot man (tear) on the way back home tonight we (ethan maggie and i) jointly named it (in a high british accent of course) "alfred pennyworth the III the swan my friend from jared" aka (back to normal voice now) "dirty penny." i thought you'd appeciate a name like that. melanie says the swan is cool cause only skinny fingers could make it. i guess you have those. sorry this is a long comment.i think i'm getting a little better with my hackey sacking abilities. i'm not total suckage anymore, or at least i dont think so. i definitely want to practice more, so maybe i could "borrow" one sometime. mae is next friday at tremont if you're interested in going. i know you have work but man would it be cool for you to come. maybe you could just come late. i really wanna go and if jake doesnt go with me, i probably wont cause i dont wanna go by myself. hows that for making you feel guilty? also, it stinks about no chicken tomorrow. it kinda makes me sad to get excited about it and then no dice. but maybe some other time. thanks for the inviting me at least. by the way, i'm still mad at you for not accepting my leaf offering. later.

a)welcome. i made it during class, actually, the one that i dont take notes in because she doesnt really ever say anything. also, good job on the naming. very nice.
b)yes, i have skinny fingers. skinny tends to be a theme with me.
c)the hackey sack is actually jake's (all three of them are) so youd have to ask him. i think he'd let you take one, though, so totally ask him. totally.
d)mae...well, i really want to go...would love to, actually. what sucks though, is that i cant take off work for it. im really sorry...missing this saturday is already a big stretch for me...to do that two weekends in a row wouldnt be good (im not sure theyd let me have it anyway, its such a busy night). i hope you still get to go, though!
e)be encouraged that the fried chicken thing has not been cancelled; it has merely been postponed. there will be fried chicken, amen.
